President McAleese visits St. Kevin's Community College


The President visited our College on Wednesday 19th January 2011 and was greeted by the Principal of the College, Mr Pat Lowry and the CEO of Co. Dublin VEC, Dr. Marie Griffin. She unveiled a plaque to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the College and posed for official photographs with some of our guests, staff and students.
She then proceeded to view the work of the Gluais leadership group, who predominately work with first years to help them to settle in to school life in secondary school.
	President McAleese also met the Student Council, an elected group of students that listen to students’ needs and concerns and bring them to the attention of school management.
